Preferences
Name, currency, language, timezone, theme and budget cycle.
Settings open from the Settings tile on the home screen, or from the account menu at the top of the screen.

The display name — the one other participants see — and your join date: "Member since …".
Currency
Picked from a searchable list.
Changing currency does not convert amounts already recorded: the numbers stay identical, only the symbol changes.
Language
Six languages: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese.
Timezone
It determines which day an expense is attached to. Worth checking after a move or a long trip.
Theme
The app follows the device appearance automatically. A light or dark mode can be forced.
Budget month start
A day between 1 and 28. It is the most structural setting on the account: it redefines every period. See Periods and cycle.
Where each setting is stored
The screen states it: Saved to the account — so found on all your devices — or Saved on this device.
